John Abraham buys Bandra bungalow worth ₹84 crore as Mumbai Trophy home deal gains momentum

Amid a surge in trophy bungalow deals due to shortage of developable land in Mumbai’s most sought-after localities, Bollywood actor John Abraham has emerged as the latest high-profile buyer. He bought a bungalow in Bandra West 84 crore, according to property registration documents obtained by Liases Foras.

With very few independent bungalows left in prime localities like Bandra, Juhu and Malabar Hill, a significant scarcity premium is paid on each transaction, making these properties one of the most coveted real estate properties in the city.

As per property registration documents, the bungalow is located on St. Martin’s Road in Bandra West. The property consists of a plot of 1,017.60 square meters and an existing bungalow with a built-up area of ​​approximately 193.12 square meters, as well as an outhouse of approximately 31.50 square meters. The registered consideration for the transaction is 84 crores.

The conveyance deed for the transaction was registered with payment by the actor on July 14, 2026 The documents show that the amount in stamp duty was Rs 5.04 crore.

The freehold property was purchased through a registered conveyance deed from Naushir Eruch Divitre, Fredon Eruch Divitre, Crystal Firoz Divitre and Eruch Firoz Divitre.

John Abraham and the sellers could not be reached for comment.

John Abraham’s bungalow will be bought in 2023

John Abraham purchased a 5,416-square-foot bungalow in Mumbai’s Khar area in December 2023, along with 7,722 square feet of land on which the bungalow is situated. ₹70.83 crore, according to property registration documents obtained by IndexTap.com

The bungalow is located on Linking Road of Khar, one of the biggest retail streets of Mumbai, and near many educational institutions. Abraham has paid The stamp duty for the bungalow was Rs 4.24 crore and the deal was registered on December 27, 2023.

Bungalow trades in Mumbai real estate market
