Filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra, also known as Vinod Deenanath Chopra, bought a luxury apartment in Bandra (West), Mumbai from filmmaker Rakesh Mehra’s company. ₹7.75 crore, according to property registration documents obtained by CRE Matrix. Mehra’s company had purchased this apartment in 2007 for approximately Rs 100 crore. ₹1.20 crores.
Documents reveal that the apartment, located on the ground floor of Bahar Apartment on Pali Mala Road in Pali Hill, was acquired from Rakesh Omprakash Mehra Pictures Pvt Ltd, represented by Bharti Mehra.
As per the property registration documents, the carpet area of the apartment is 698 sq ft and it was registered on June 30, 2026.
Buyer paid stamp duty ₹46.50 lakhs and registration fee ₹30,000 for the transaction.
